Hello to all!
I am sitting in the computer lab on the internet. I do not know how but somehow on Saturday evening I knocked a thing a water on top of my computer and now have to get it repaired...awesome...not...but really...stop putting all these periods!
Any who. I am now officially moved into my flat and have met all of my flatmates. One goes to school at UNCG, one is from Nashville and goes to University of Memphis, two are from Malasia, and one if from China. They are all really cool and have already met some nice people here.
My American roommates and I went and knocked on the main door of all the flats in our "block" (our section of flats). Above us one floor are an entire group of Scottish lads and above them on the next two floors are all chinese.
The city here at sunset is beautiful. It starts getting pretty close to dark at about 4.45 <-- In Britain you use a "." when referring to the time and not a ":". All the spires from the churches can be seen from the campus and the bell towers ring on the hour. It is such a cool place! Tomorrow I plan on going and looking for a job as well as getting my computer fixxed. I am going to try and find a job in some sort of retail, though I am still keeping the option of a rich person taking me under their wing for the fact I have a beard.
Well, I am going to go do something....don't know quite what yet, but something.
Cheers and thanks!
(go do something spontaneous today)

New York New York to London Calling to...is there a song with Glasgow in it?
I AM HERE! After three flights, 15 hours in layovers, two defrostings of the plane, and a complete power down of one plane I am finally in Glasgow. I spent about an hour walking around with my bags in the city centre (that is how they spell center in Britain). I found this great restaurant/bar called bar t3n (ten) and it is great. I sat down with my waiter and we talked about a ton of stuff. He told me some places to go and also let me know about the music scene some.
Tonight I venture to the west side of town to stay with a guy I met on www.couchsurfing.com and I will be staying with him for the next two nights. Tomorrow I plan on wandering around and walking a lot. I am really loving it here and I am so excited to get things going on Monday.
I am going to finish my first Scottish beer (which is awesome).
Happy Trails to all
p.s. Yesterday when eating in NYC (at the diner in Seinfeld) I passed this sign

What the hell am I doing?

Hello all! This is my first of hopefully many blog posts. I am sitting right now at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport along with a plethora of other individuals. The lady in front of my is drinking the largest Starbucks I have ever drank while others are trying to fall back asleep due to the fact they all are up at such an early hour (unless your Mr. Rosie).
I fly to NYC for a 12 hour layover and after that I venture to Jolly old England for a 2 hour layover before going to my final destination of Glasgow (the picture to the right).
until thanks and cheers to all
